Jean Cross is a teacher who will be moving from Cornwall to Walthamstow (or nearby).  She has an eight-year-old collie called Bet, who is “adorable, well behaved and very good company.”  Whilst Jean is at work, Bet has been spending the days with a dog-sitter and Jean is really keen to find another such person in the area.  It is not necessary to walk Bet, so if you’re able to offer companionship each day to a Collie dog, and get companionship from her, please contact Jean Cross on beancroft34@yahoo.co.uk

Open Church – Sunday afternoons from 2.00 – 5.00 pm.  There will be tea/coffee and cakes available.  Please do come!  We need volunteers to be hosts and serve refreshments and also people to make a cake - please speak to  Bernard, Judith, Frances or Sue for more information or sign up on the rota at the back of church – putting your name and if making a cake, what flavour it will be!

Be more concerned with your character
than with your reputation, because your character is what you really are
while your reputation is merely what others
