World’s Biggest Coffee Morning – Friday 27th
September. Please drop in to Peterhouse for a cup of
coffee/tea and a cake, any time between 10.00
and 11.00 am to raise funds for Macmillan cancer support.

November from 10.00 – 4.00 pm. As
before, no tools are required – please just come along.

Come to the E17 School of Prayer!
The parish church of St Peter's-in-the-Forest, Walthamstow is privileged to be able to offer an invite to our forthcoming School of Prayer. This exciting 8-week course has been written - and will be led - by Sue Diplock, a member of the ministry team of St Peter's. The course will have a focus on many traditions within the contemplative strand of Christian prayer. (Sue is a trained expert in Ignatian Sprituality, Exercises & Direction.)
Sessions will be held on
Monday evenings, this autumn – starting on the 14th October, in the
Peterhouse Centre (122 Forest Rise, Walthamstow. E17 3PW): each session will
commence at 7.45 pm and will finish between 9.00 pm and 9.15 pm.
All those in easy reach of
Walthamstow are welcome. No prior knowledge is supposed.
Open
Church – Sunday
afternoons from 2.00 – 5.00 pm. There
will be tea/coffee and cakes available.
Please do come! We need
volunteers to be hosts and serve refreshments and also people to make a cake -
please speak to Bernard, Judith, Frances
or Sue for more information or sign up on the rota at the back of church –
putting your name and if making a cake, what flavour it will be!
