scripture – lectio divina

praying with icons and art

6th November (Wednesday)

Week 4 (half term week):

praying with music and song:
the group will join a Taizé service
– probably at All Hallows by the Tower, City of London. This will take place at 6.00 pm (details to
be finalised and confirmed).

11th November

Week 5:
|
the Jesus Prayer and
meditation using single words or short phrases
|
18th November
|
Week 6:
|
healing prayer
|
25th November
|
Week 7:
|
Ignatian imaginative prayer
and the examen
|
2nd December
|
Week 8:
|
praying with liturgy
|
Each session should be self-contained although all
participants will find it helpful to attend Week 1 if at all possible. Sessions will begin at 7.30 (tea &
coffee) for 7.45 and finish by 9.15.
