Graveyard Gardeners!

For 2014, we are moving into Phase 2 of our management plan for the churchyard of St Peter's-in-the-Forest.  (Phase 1, last year, was the clearing of the heavy overgrowth concealing the graves.) A group of Year 9 Girls from Forest School have formed the 'Graveyard Gardeners' and have started on flower beds at the front gate. Will you join in the community projects this year?!?...

A good amount of weeding and decluttering has now allowed the erection of a little flower bed, which will be raised and enriched with compost over the next couple of weeks...

A quick visit to the garden centre this week, as we ran out of fencing and gravel, but the planting plan is already to go and many folk are donating bedding plants...further offers gratefully received!
