In order
to keep you all informed about the project and its progress, I will be writing
short updates every month with the above summary showing if we are on target,
raising sufficient funds and within project costs.
It’s been
a great first month working on the project, with the consultant team coming together,
consultations with stakeholders starting and the design team getting to grips
with St Peter’s history, use and possible new uses before thinking about
restoration designs. Ian Lucas our conservation architect has also been busy
researching the churche’s original and significant features which he will
incorporate into a conservation plan. This should be ready by August and I will
be putting some of the highlights on this media for everyone to see.
