Our dear friend Harry has died, this Valentine's Day.
Harry has fought the good fight and is now at rest.
Harry was, for very many years, a faithful Reader (Lay Minister) in the Church of God, offering his ministry at St Peter-in-the-Forest, Walthamstow. A powerful preacher, with a down-to-earth style; he also had a great heart for our ministries of healing, often praying with those distressed in body, mind or spirit.
Harry never parted company without offering the word "Shalom" (Peace).
So, "Shalom", dear brother.
Rest in peace, and rise in glory.
Funeral arrangements - Monday 6 March 2017
A short (approx, 25 minutes), dignified service of Commendation and Committal of Harry's mortal remains will be held at Enfield Crematorium (EN1 4DS), commencing at 1.30pm.
Thereafter, a fuller (approx. 60 minutes) Memorial Service will be held at the church of St Mary Magdalene, Windmill Hill, Enfield (EN2 7AJ), commencing at 2.30pm.
All who wish to may attend these services.
