Having made a good start to clearing the churchyard last year, including working on tidying some of the graves and gravestones, we are keen to continue this work and hope you’ll come along and join in again!
We will plan to meet on every second Saturday through the year, continuing work in and around the churchyard.
As well as continuing with clearing nettles, some ivy, saplings etc, plans include clearing the St Peter’s Path side of church as this has not yet been touched, possibly planting a Yew bush as a barrier, just inside the surrounding fence, cleaning and repainting the rails at the front of church. Below are the dates for 2014 – usually from 10.30 am.
